Position Title: English Language Trainer

WORK LOCATION: Inharrime, Mozambique (Hybrid System)

CONTRACT TYPE: Part-time / Consultancy

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Director of Comathe

EXPECTED START DATE: July 2025 (Quarterly Intake)

COMATHE E.I. is a sole proprietorship based in Inharrime, Inhambane Province, focused on providing inclusive financial services and professional capacity-building opportunities. Through Comathe Academy, we aim to empower young adults, entrepreneurs, and professionals with relevant skills that support economic development and self-reliance.

POSITION SUMMARY

The English Language Trainer will be responsible for delivering engaging, practical, and learner-centered sessions in both General English and Business English, using a hybrid format (in-person and online). The trainer will support the academic team in planning, teaching, monitoring student progress, and supporting overall training quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Design and deliver lessons aligned with Comathe Academy’s training modules

·         Facilitate interactive sessions in General and Business English

·         Develop and distribute instructional materials (digital and printed)

·         Monitor learner performance and apply assessments

·         Complete attendance sheets and performance reports

·         Participate in planning and evaluation meetings with the Academy team

REQUIREMENTS

·         Degree or certification in English Teaching, Linguistics, Education, or related fields

·         Minimum 1 year of proven experience as an English trainer

·         Strong digital literacy (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)

·         Excellent classroom management and communication skills

·         International certifications (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.) are a plus

·         Ability to work with learners of various levels and backgrounds
